Copper Topper Faceting Laps for Polishing and Grinding

Copper has long been the first choice for many top gemcutters around the world for decades.   It's strength, pliability, and its exceptional ability to accept being charged with diamond has made it versatility unmatched. 

Whether you want to charge it with 600# or 1200# for cutting or 3000# for pre-polish copper will get the job done while providing you with a flat clean facet on any material.

We are proud to now be able to offer a top quality solid copper topper lap that with proper care will provide you with many years of service.

Our 6" Laps are a 1 mm thick solid copper lap.  While our 8" Laps are a 1.5 mm solid copper lap.

All laps have a 1/2" Arbor Hole.

We recommend pairing the laps with a solid aluminium or zinc master lap for the best results on one side.

Although the laps can be charged on both sides we do not recommend this practice as it can be difficult to avoid contamination.  We recommend you only charge the lap with a single mesh of diamond.
