Solid Copper Topped Faceting Laps for Polishing and Grinding

Copper has long been the first choice for many top gemcutters around the world for decades.   It's strength, pliability, and its exceptional ability to accept being charged with diamond has made it versatility unmatched. 

Whether you want to charge it with 600# or 1200# for cutting or 3000# for pre-polish copper will get the job done while providing you with a flat clean facet on any material.

We are proud to now be able to offer a top quality solid aluminium copper topped lap that with proper care will provide you with many years of service.

Our 6" Laps are topped with a 1 mm thick solid copper lap.  While our 8" Laps are topped with a 1.5 mm solid copper lap.

All laps have a 1/2" Arbor Hole.

Both laps have a solid aluminium base lap that provides great stability reducing any chance of wobbling and ensuring flatness keeping any high spots to a minimum.
